2009 Open Juried Art Show and Sale
The Grand Prairie Arts Council opens its 2009 Open Juried Art Show and Sale on September 13 at the Grand Prairie Main Library, 901 Conover Drive. The public is invited to the Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony that begins at 2:00 p.m. – entertainment and refreshments provided.
More than 30 regional and local artists will exhibit more than 100 pieces of artwork, and more than $3000 in prize money will be awarded. This year's show will feature a special category celebrating Grand Prairie’s Centennial, Grand Prairie, My Hometown!” specifically for artwork with a focus on the City of Grand Prairie. The art show and sale is open to the public from September 13 through September 25 during regular library hours.
