Arts Council’s production of “Always…Patsy Cline” to open at the Uptown
The Grand Prairie Arts Council presents Always…Patsy Cline a musical based on a true story about the friendship between the legendary country singer Patsy Cline and her biggest fan, Louise Seger of Houston.
Seger befriended the star in a Texas honky-tonk in 1961 and corresponded with the country star until her untimely death in 1963.
The show stars GPAC stage veteran Susan Metzger as Patsy Cline and show veteran Dana Harrison as Louise Seger. The show also features The Bodacious Bobcats Band including Jenny Bob, Billy Bob, Jay Bob, Ray Bob and Bob Bob, who are an integral part of the story line, in addition to providing show-stopping music!
The musical play includes more than 20 of Patsy' unforgettable hits such as Crazy, I Fall to Pieces, Sweet Dreams and Waking After Midnight. Performances at the historic Uptown Theater, 120 East Main are set for:
