Chamber honors Community Award recipients
The Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce recognized outstanding community and Chamber leaders at its 2009 Community Awards ceremony held January 14 at the Ruthe Jackson Center.
2009 award recipients include:
Citizen of the Year - Jeff Copeland, Federal Title
Woman of the Year - Lynn McGinley, Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce
Man of the Year - Dave Burke, Grand Prairie Air Hogs
Public Service Award - Bill Thorn, City Council Member, Grand Prairie
Corporation of the Year - Vought Aircraft Industries, Inc.- Marshall Street Facility
Small Business of the Year - Arnold Brothers Dry Cleaning & Laundry
Member of the Year - Don Goldsmith, Grand Bank of Texas
Volunteer of the Year - Richard Whitman, Texas Trust Credit Union
Grand Prairie Chamber Business of the Year - Grand Bank of Texas
Director of the Year - Allan Hughes, Traders Village
Chairman’s Awards - Rita Heep and Bruce Caldwell (City of Grand Prairie)
Branding Iron of the Year - Deborah Hepworth, Independent Beauty Consultant-Mary Kay Cosmetics
