Chamber welcomes new church to city

Members of the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce Branding Irons held a ceremonial ribbon cutting January 17 to welcome the New Beginnings Christian Fellowship Church to Grand Prairie.

Church pastor Perry Crenshaw said the new church began once a month preview services in May 2009 and started meeting weekly in October.

The church currently worships in the chapel of the Homestead Funeral Home, 2951 South Belt Line. Services begin at 10:00 a.m.
