Police to file charges in the murder of Johnie Stailey

Stailey, 69, was shot and killed in his home on December 13 when he interrupted a burglary after returning home from church.
Police spokesman Detective John Brimmer said detectives arrested Pyron on unrelated theft warrants and considered him a “person of interest.” Brimmer added that Pyron is currently being held in the Tarrant County Jail for the theft charges and will be arraigned in Dallas County on the murder charge.
Bond has been set at $2 million by a Grand Prairie judge.
