Reward offered in murder of Irving man

Grand Prairie police announced today that Schepps Dairy is offering a $10,000 reward in connection with the murder of Gerardo Castanon-Banuelos.

The 31-year-old shooting victim was last seen alive January 22 at a 24-Hour gym near Highway 183 and Story Road in Irving. His body was found January 23 at the entrance to McFalls Park in the 1400 block of South Carrier Parkway in Grand Prairie.

Schepps Dairy will pay $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and Grand Jury indictment of the person or persons responsible for the murder.
