Two arrested minutes after burglary

An alert Grand Prairie police officer apprehended two suspects Saturday only minutes after the two burglarized an apartment in the 200 block of SE 13, stealing a large flat-screen television, a game system, and various games and DVD’s.

A neighbor called police after they found an apartment door kicked open and saw two suspects flee the area in what was described as a “long, black Cadillac.”

Police dispatchers broadcast the suspect’s vehicle description and moments later a patrol officer saw a car traveling on Jefferson that matched the description.

The 1995 Cadillac was stopped and officers found the television and game system in the back seat.

Police arrested Victor Vidauri, 20, and Gabriel Valadez, 19, for the burglary. Valadez also had outstanding warrants from other agencies.
