Uptown brings back Sunday movie matinees

By popular demand, Grand Prairie's historic Uptown Theater, 120 E. Main St., is launching Sunday Matinees.

"This is a great opportunity for parents to share the movies they loved growing up with their kids and experience them together," said Theater Manager Elspeth McDonald.

Show time is 2:00 p.m. and the movie lineup includes:

Hook - March 21.
The Muppet Movie - April 18
The Princess Bride - May 16

Tickets are $4 for adults and $3 for kids ages 15 and younger and available at www.uptowntheatergp.com, 972-237-UPTN or at the box office the day of the movie.
